Prepaid cards price hike

Large mobile phone card distributors in Beirut are being blamed for a more than 80% hike in the price of prepaid cards in the city, The Daily Star reports. Card sellers started raising prices in summer two years ago to take advantage of an influx of Arab tourists. While the official price of cards is $51, some sellers have been asking $80-100.
