KBR wins Ras Tanura deal

The US' KBR has won the project management contract from Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemicals for the construction of the estimated $22bn Ras Tanura petrochemical plant. KBR beat Fluor and Foster Wheeler for the deal. The project is the largest of its kind to be developed in the Middle East. It is due to be up and running in 2012.
