Leighton in ME talks

Australian construction firm Leighton has confirmed it is discussing partnerships with GCC companies, including Dubai-based Al Habtoor Engineering, The Age reports. Al Habtoor built the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel. Reports suggest that Leighton is negotiating taking a "substantial" stake in AH Engineering, which would value the company at up to $2bn.
