Iran fuel imports to continue

Iran still needs to import 10-20m litres a day of petrol despite the introduction of fuel rationing, Reuters reported. Iran imported about 40-50% of its petrol needs before rationing began. About 40m litres a day were imported in 2006, a senior National Iranian Oil Company executive was quoted as saying by the Mehr News Agency.
