MP Saad Rafic Hariri visits Saraya headquarters

Member of Parliament Saad Rafic Hariri, Head of the Future Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament and Chairman of Saraya Holdings Ltd., along with Sheikh Ayman Hariri, have visited Saraya Company Headquarters in Amman, the Hashmite Kingdom of Jordan.

MP Hariri was received by Mr. Ali Kolaghassi, CEO and Vice Chairman of Saraya Holdings, accompanied by the top officials from Saraya.

Mr. Kolaghassi briefed MP Hariri about the latest developments of Saraya's flagship project, Saraya Aqaba, located at the heart of Aqaba city. MP Hariri briefed on other projects of Saraya. On this occasion, MP Hariri thanked Saraya management and employees for their continuous efforts and dedication towards making Saraya the regional pioneer of innovative concepts in the real estate, travel and tourism sectors.

Saraya Holdings limited, established in 2005, is a real estate development company investing in the MENA region. Saraya's vision is manifested in turning untapped natural, rich and unique locations into luxurious touristic destinations, as well as providing a series of unique and value-added services that cater to customers' various demands and needs.

"Saraya seeks to support the economic growth of the countries it invests in by developing projects that maximize shareholders' value and contribute to the sustainable development of local communities," MP Hariri said.

Through its investment subsidiaries, Saraya has invested in Saraya Aqaba project, currently being developed in Jordan. While three other projects - Saraya Islands in Ras Al Khaimah-U.A.E, Saraya
Dead Sea in Jordan and Saraya Bandar Jissah- Oman. All these projects are at various stages of development.

Through strategic partnerships with public and private sectors, Saraya provides all facilities and services that a modern city can offers; including premium hotels, retail, entertainment, leisure and sport facilities, superb residential units while preserving the natural environment and local cultures.

In addition, Saraya Holdings and the Arab Bank have jointly established Saraya MENA Fund with an amount of worth US$250 million and have announced its first regional investment in the "Saraya Islands" project in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

Earlier, in May this year, Saraya Holdings announced the launch of Saraya Private Aviation at EBACE - the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Switzerland. Saraya Private Aviation is a Private Jet Charter Operation designed to serve Saraya's ever growing stakeholders, making an exclusive option of executive flights; introducing a new, unique, and luxurious aircraft service for corporations, customers, special travelers and businessmen.

Saraya Private Aviation's fleet will provide short and long distance trips, taking off and landing from any Saraya and other destinations in the world. The service is scheduled to to commence operations in June 2008.
