Orange fixed-line subscribers fall

Jordan Telecom Group is saying the number of its Orange fixed line subscribers dropped off in the first half of 2007, according to the Jordan Times. The telco did not disclose actual figures. JTG said revenues from fixed line operations declined in H1 because of a drop in subscribers, the cost of upgrading services and theft, particularly of copper cables.
