Kraft ranks most respected company in US; fifteenth in world

In a recent ranking of public opinions about company reputations and standings, Kraft Foods tops the list of the most respected company in the US and fifteenth in the world (out of 600 companies) in a survey conducted by Reputation Institute Research Firm.
The survey was conducted amongst 60,000 consumers who were asked to complete an online questionnaire to vote for companies in their own respective countries. The survey asked questions on topics related to products and services, innovation of the brand, citizenship, performance and many more relevant areas, for the first ever time was that the participants thought citizenship was the dominant indicator on reputation of a company.
According to Reputation Institute, Kraft Foods earned the highest reputation pulse of 81.6 indicating that consumers carry high trust, respect and a positive feeling for the brand. Kraft Foods also stands as one of the only chosen world companies to gain a foothold globally, scoring 15th in the world.
Patrick Satamian adds, "JL Kraft started selling cheese from a horse-drawn wagon in 1903. Today, a century later we are successfully competing in a very challenging market with a wide range of Kraft products. This rating also demonstrates the contribution we are making and will continue doing so for the well-being of society."
