With multiple features aimed at enhancing entrepreneurship in the UAE, the site will expand the Establishment's reach and facilitate interaction with entrepreneurs even in the remotest areas of the country.
Akil Kazim, Operation Director of Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders said:
"We leave no stone unturned in our quest to build entrepreneurial capabilities across the country. The website is a strategic gateway which helps us to achieve this objective and we are keen to increase awareness about the untapped potential of the UAE entrepreneurs."
The website makes available abundant information on the services and facilities in addition to helping entrepreneurs download various documents and applications. Entrepreneurs are spared an initial trip to the Establishment to physically collect the papers.
A downloadable copy of the UAE's first Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Report - GEM-UAE 2006, the first report of its kind in the Arab region, is another key feature of this website. The report analyses the current situation and details opportunities and challenges facing entrepreneurs in the UAE. It was published earlier this year by the Establishment in collaboration with Zayed University and the GEM.
Tips on starting up a new business, causes of small businesses' failure, buying a business or a franchise, and protecting Intellectual Property are also available on the website.
The website also includes a directory of member companies with a brief on each company's activities, services and products. A selection of prominent success stories achieved by the Establishment members in various sectors is also highlighted on the website.
"We hope these success stories will help motivate the younger generation to explore opportunities to venture into setting up new businesses," Al Janahi said.
