Abu Dhabi projects scaled back

Abu Dhabi developers have been requested to reduce the density and planned population of projects in accordance with Abu Dhabi 2030, a master plan to serve as a template for development in the emirate for the next 22 years, according to our sister publication MEED. Several developers have reworked projects to comply with the guidelines favouring low density development, with projects on Lulu and Reem islands affected. More mega projects are expected to be announced when Abu Dhabi 2030 is unveiled, due to be later this year.
