TAIB promotes three in brokerage division

TAIB Bank B.S.C. (c) has announced the promotion of three individuals in their Bahrain-based brokerage subsidiary, TAIB Securities W.L.L.
"I'm delighted to take on the challenges and opportunities that this new role brings," remarked Mr. Al-Bastaki. He added, "All of us at TAIB Securities have been keenly focussed on enhancing our services and improving customer experience levels. We've had much success, particularly with the expansion of our Global Reach trading capabilities to over 30 capital markets, and we expect the momentum to continue."
Prior to joining TAIB, Mr. Al-Bastaki was instrumental in building the brokerage division at National Bank of Kuwait, where he served as an Executive Manager and Head of International Brokerage for five years, prior to which he was holding the position of senior Manager in the operation division for seven years.
Mr. Zahiruddin, formerly Senior Manager, has been with TAIB Securities since 2002, serving in various roles, including some in research and the brokerage desk. He holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the Bangalore University in India, and completed a PG program in equity research. He also received portfolio manager certification from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India. Prior to joining TAIB, Mr. Zahiruddin worked with leading brokerage houses in Oman and India.
Mr. Alshaikh formerly Manager GCC & MENA Markets has been with the TAIB securities since 1997. Prior to joining TAIB securities he was working for Aljawhara securities for 2 years.
