$2bn LNG plant could move

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre could set up its planned $2bn liquefied natural gas storage facility outside of Dubai, Reuters reported. The DMCC is developing storage with Canada's LNG Impel, and the firms are looking at some alternative sites, including Fujairah, DMCC executive director Tilak Doshi told Reuters. Construction of the LNG storage facility, which would comprise 15 tanks of 200,000 cubic metres each, will begin early 2008, Doshi said.
