Etihad scraps Colombo fliights

Etihad Airways has announced it will discontinue flights to Colombo from 9 September 2007. The Abu Dhabi carrier said it had taken the decision following 'extensive market analysis'. Etihad said it would honour its commitment to ticketed passengers after 9 September, and that Etihad Holidays would continue to market Sri Lanka in conjunction with its partners.
