Epicor launches foray into India from Dubai base, aligns with new partners to expand channel

"We have a strong base in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) markets, and now India will also be a key market for us in our regional growth strategy," said Mr. Basil Daniells, regional sales director for Epicor Middle East, North Africa and India. "Our growth plan is driven by channel expansion and we have already enhanced our network aligning with two more new partners - Allied Digital in Pune for the Western India markets and Team Computers in Delhi for the North."

Epicor's Indian operations are currently overseen from its Dubai office which is also in charge of Pakistan and the Middle East and North Africa markets.

The Epicor iScala suite of solutions has been available to customers in India for over a decade, offered through its channel partner, Sonata Software. The iScala customer base in India, which is over 40 enterprises, includes Galderma, Agfa, Corning, LPS Brossard, DSM Anti Infectives, Atotech India, Beam Global, Grundfos and Arkema, to name a few.

Epicor will continue to build on the customer base of iScala, a leading business software solution for the booming hospitality and distribution industries in the region. At the same time, Epicor will also focus on the roll out of new solutions, including its discrete manufacturing suite, retail management suite, and software suite for service enterprises targeted primarily at the professional services industry.
