Ciel, both for Women and Men have been hailed by perfume connoisseurs as fragrances which evoke reminiscences of a rain shower on a hot summer's day, providing a cooling and invigorating effect.

Created by internationally-celebrated master perfumers in Grasse in the South of France, Ciel for women is pure, delicate and floral, featuring notes of gardenia, cyclamen, jasmine and water-lily in the top notes, with a base of silver frankincense. Ciel for men is a fresh fougère with top notes of lavender, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley over a warm, green base of vetyver, cedar and silver frankincense.

"Ciel is the ideal fragrance for the summer as it provides a soothing luxurious touch to the scorching heat. The fragrance encapsulates the emotions of spring savoured in tranquility and is reminiscent of delicate wild flowers and raindrops on leaves," expressed David Crickmore, Amouage CEO. "We have re-formulated the fragrance to give a longer lasting perfume with increased depth."

"As the brand embraces the challenge to mould itself into a 21st century luxury global brand, our efforts are continually directed to keeping abreast of international consumer mindsets and market trends," he added.

Crickmore disclosed that a considerable effort by his team of international professionals entrusted with the comprehensive transformation of the brand under his direction is proceeding according to plan. "All will be unveiled in a spectacular Silver Jubilee Celebration in Muscat in November, along with the introduction of a wonderful new luxury fragrance and exciting new products," he said.

Amouage has recently launched Reflection Woman and Reflection Man, two fragrances that celebrate the power of the individual and evoke quiet introspection, which have proven to be yet another notable success for the house. "Reflection has been exceptionally well received in all markets, a positive indication that we are on the right path to establishing the brand's enormous potential worldwide," said Crickmore.

Ciel is available at Amouage boutiques in addition to prestigious perfumeries and department stores around the world. The epitome of luxury, Amouage has a stellar world-wide following including royals, global leaders and celebrities.
