The new product provides prepaid and postpaid service providers with an electronic recharging and payment functionality in a secure and time effective way.
The newly launched product integrates wholesalers/distributors, telecom operators, billers, as well as, retailers and outlets in the voucher dispensing and management processes. It can be owned and operated by a telecom operator, a financial institution, a wholesaler distributor or any third party service operator through multiple licensing and deployment models to enable prepaid and postpaid users to top-up their accounts and pay their bills using cash or credit/ debit cards physically at shops or over the internet.
'STS has certified Hypercom's Optimum T2100/M2100 terminals with PayONE™ Voucher. Certification of the new Optimum T4200 family is currently in progress. PayONE™ Voucher leverages Hypercom MegaNAC networking solution to provide fast and reliable communication infrastructure for dial-up, GSM, and IP terminals. With PayONE™ Voucher, Hypercom POS and network solution, STS has a unique position to provide customers with an end-to-end solution.' Built using J2EE open framework, the functionality of the solution includes real-time transaction authorization, inquiry, logging, auto error recovery, intelligent exceptions handling as well as system management tools for administration, configuration and debugging, reporting in addition to a superior encryption/decryption technology. PayONE™ Voucher supports 'online' and 'offline' modes of operation. The online mode enables the service shops or outlets to request the PIN vouchers on the spot, while the offline mode enables them to download bulk of PINs and store them on the Point of Sale (PoS) devices.
'PayONE™ Voucher supports multiple service delivery channels including dial-up, GSM and IP EFT POS terminals deployed at shops and outlets, as well as PCs and kiosks (over the Internet). It provides management and dispensing capabilities for several prepaid and post paid products like GSM airtime, ISP cards, VoIP calling cards, utility bills, government bills, parking cards and toll cards, with the ability to add more services and access channels to cater for the ever changing market dynamics,' said Janti Abdallah, Manager of ePayment Solutions at STS.
