Expired food re-sale scam

Four Pakistani men have been jailed in Dubai for bringing food items beyond their expiry date into the emirate and then exporting them, after changing the best before dates, to India and Pakistan, reported Gulf News. Officials had found the men with fake medicines as well as out-of-date chocolate, biscuits and corn. One of the men was given an eight year prison term while the other three received one year sentences.
