'As AmCham moves into its third year in Bahrain, we realize the need to combine our many resources to build greater trade and investment opportunities between Bahrain and the United States', Mr. Zayani said. 'Jeff's appointment to this leadership position is among our first actions in accomplishing this.'
Jones, whose background includes marketing, public relations and banking, is a native of Washington, D.C. and has lived in Bahrain for nearly ten years. Other international assignments include Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Dubai and the U.K. In Bahrain he has served on the boards of The American Association of Bahrain and the American Chamber of Commerce.
'It is a tremendous honor for me to have the opportunity to continue the important work of AmCham', Jones said. 'To be of continuing service to the two countries for which I have the greatest respect - the United States and the Kingdom of Bahrain - could not provide more personal or professional satisfaction.'
AmCham Bahrain appoints Jeffrey Jones as CEO
Khalid Al Zayani, President of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain, announced the appointment of Jeffrey Jones as Chief Executive Officer of AmCham.
