Mobily racks up 1.8m 3.5G users

Mobily has 1.8m 3.5G subscribers in Saudi Arabia, Arab News reported, quoting a spokesperson. The telco plans to invest $267m in expanding the 3.5G network to more locations before the end of 2007. Mobily's 3.5G network, which it rolled out in 2006, covers 23 cities and towns in the kingdom, consisting of more than 1,000 base stations.
