'Butch Harmon School of Golf' to open in Dubai Sports City

Butch Harmon, one of golf's most celebrated instructors, has told Dubai Sport City's Update magazine that his 'Butch Harmon School of Golf' to be based at Dubai Sports City, will provide tuition at a level found in very few other places in the world.
Dubai Sports City will be the only international venue for a Butch Harmon School of Golf outside the United States, and Dubai residents and visitors alike will be able to take advantage of the same standard of in-depth coaching experience as the tour pros.
The Butch Harmon School of Golf will feature a wide range of facilities, including state-of-the-art computer and video equipment used to assess a player's swing.
"Proof of Butch's exemplary coaching can be best seen at major golfing tournaments across the world. Current and former students include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Darren Clarke, Greg Norman, and Adam Scott, and we hope to create many more golf champions at Dubai Sports City," said Malcolm Thorpe, Marketing Director, Sports Business, Dubai Sports City.
In his contribution to the latest edition of Dubai Sports City's quarterly newsletter, Update, Harmon goes on to offer readers of Update exclusive tips on improving their game, drawing on his unique coaching philosophy, where instruction is tailored to maximize a players individual style.
Dubai Sports City will combine sports, business, retail and residential facilities as the cornerstone of the prestigious Dubailand project, including The Dunes, the first Ernie Els signature course in the Middle East.
The Butch Harmon School of Golf opens next year.
