173.4 million Dhs profit of Arabtec Holding PJSC for the first half of 2007

Arabtec Holding PJSC has achieved a consolidated profit of AED 173.4 million in the first half of 2007 compared to AED 113.5 million for the same period last year, an increase of 53 per cent.
Commenting on the results, Riad Kamal, the CEO of Arabtec Holding PJSC stated: "Arabtec improved its profit margins during the last years by carrying out more construction projects and increasing the number of its subsidiaries. Arabtec now has eight subsidiaries in the UAE and abroad".
"Arabtec positioned itself among the leaders in the rapidly expanding construction market and currently has a backlog in excess of AED 11 billion in unfinished projects programmed for completion in the next two to three years", he added.
