UAE admissions announced

Close to 11,000 Emiratis have gained places in universities and colleges for the 2007-08 academic year, Gulf News reported. The UAE University has admitted 2,513 students, 6,699 have been placed with seven Colleges of Higher Technology, 1,233 in Zayed University and 501 have been chosen for external research programmes.
