Jeddah festival concerns

The 45 day long Jeddah Summer Festival, which is now into its second week, is so far running at a loss of around $1.3m and could be set for its lowest income since its launch back in 1999, according to an un-named source quoted by the Arab News. Prior to the start of the event, promoters claimed it would attract more than 3m visitors and gross around $800m.
