Tabarak has been granted a license to advise on financial products and arrange credit and deals in investments as a full Shari'ah-compliant institution.
According to Ziad Baya'a and Khuram Hussain, the Managing Partners of Tabarak, 'The license gives us the ability to offer our turnkey services from one of the most exciting financial centers.'
Furthermore, the DFSA's excellent regulatory framework and Tabarak's standards of best practice will give further comfort to our clients by being the only independent fully Shari'ah-compliant and regulated Shari'ah structuring & advisory firm within the DFSA.
Prior to authorization, Tabarak Partners structured a number of Shari'ah compliant funds belonging to various asset classes, including but not limited to; Trade Finance, Private Equity and Real Estate. The structured products have also revolved around the hospitality, leasing, logistics and distribution sectors.
Tabarak's strength has been to source the best fund managers globally and structure their products in compliance with Shariáh. Tabarak's client base has included the leading financial institutions in the GCC region and ultra high net worth investors.
Tabarak receives authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority
Tabarak Partners LLP has been incorporated in the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) and became authorised by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) on July 25, 2007 to provide Shariáh structuring, advisory and distribution of investment products.
