The AMD Geode LX900@1.5W processor is one of the most advanced Geode LX processors for demanding applications, designed to deliver premium performance with very low total system power.

The ILM runs the full version of Microsoft's Windows XP® and employs a proprietary touch-screen user interface. The device enables customers to enjoy high-quality music and video playback, use PC-like Internet browsing applications on their handheld and use full-version PC applications, accessible over WiFi and upcoming WiMax networks.

'Nawaiya's ILM comes bundled with proprietary content portal designed to provide our customers seamless access to live TV, sports, movies and music downloads over WiFi. Recently we have partnered with jumpTV (www.jumptv.com) to offer our customers access to over 50 live premium Arabic channels such as MBC1, Alarabiya, Aljazeera, Dubai TV, Dubai Sports, Escape Music Channel, LBC and Future TV,'

said Samer Suheil, Managing Director at Nawaiya.

'Nawaiya's ILM device is currently available at Sharaf DG and will soon hit all major retailers in the Middle East and Africa', Suheil added.

'Users today want products that combine looks with greater mobility and enhanced productivity. This has led to a rise in the demand for smart phone technology throughout the Middle East,' observed Gautam Srivastava, AMD's Vice President, Sales and Marketing, and Managing Director for Middle East, Africa and Pakistan.

'The ILM fuels the consumer's demand for a feature-rich device. It runs on the AMD Geode LX, which is a highly integrated architecture that enables long battery life and small form-factor designs that are common to thin clients, single board computers, and ultra mobile applications,' Srivastava added.

Building on the success of ILM, Nawaiya will soon unveil an advanced version of the existing device called ILM 3G. The new ILM 3G with its sleek and chic design packs in a number of distinctive features for the discerning users.

'The ILM 3G packs full PC functionality with full mobile phone functionality along with improved content and media portal accessible over WiFi or 3G (HSDPA/EVDO) and soon WiMax, we intend to offer customers a very compelling alternative to the iPhone - iTunes experience with the ILM 3G - Nawaiya content and media portal experience,' said Suheil.

Customers will be able to view and experience the latest device from Nawaiya during GITEX 2007. Nawaiya will be exhibiting along with AMD at Hall 3, stand No. B31.
