Dubai Chamber trains summer students on the skills of distinguished management

Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry organized last week a 3-day training course for summer students to help them learn the skills of distinguished management.
Suroor Al Qamzi, Team Leader, Personnel, at Human Resources Department of the Dubai Chamber, said the training course targeted more than 25 male and female school and university students. The participants were introduced to the work process at the Chamber's departments and the facilitated mechanism through which the Chamber's staff provide different commercial services to the members and businessmen.
"Training summer students at Dubai Chamber every year goes in line with its annual plan to help offer a chance to the school and university students to acquire knowledge and administrative skills and learn more about customer services and the way our staff implement commercial transactions. This knowledge helps the trainees at their future career," said Al Qamzi.
The course focused on several issues including the art of providing customers with value-added services, internal relations with colleagues, time management and the importance of meeting deadlines, meeting the customers' satisfaction and enhancing the importance of team work.
