UAE Consul of China acclaims efforts of Sharjah Municipality

A meeting was held on Tuesday morning at the head office of Sharjah Municipality between Dr. Salah Al Haj, General Director of Sharjah Municipality, and Mr. Gao Youzhen, UAE Consul of the Republic of China.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Haj made a detailed presentation about the municipality's efforts to provide excellent services to its citizens in order to contribute to the city's development and has explained the functions and responsibilities of the different municipality's departments.
Dr. Al Haj also affirmed that the Chinese Consul's visit will open the doors to a bilateral friendship between the two countries and an opportunity for the Republic of China to learn more about the facilities and the services provided by Sharjah Municipality to the visitors.
From his side, the Chinese Consul expressed his delight of the rapid development of Sharjah Municipality under the strong leadership of His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed AlQasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. He added that Chinese officials are very interested to increase their visits to the UAE and that the Republic of China is looking forward to develop the economic relations between the two countries.
Dr. Salah Al Haj and Mr. Gao Youzhen, Chinese Consul, also exchanged views and opinions on how to promote and develop the services and activities of the municipality, and the possibility of increasing the cooperation and coordination in the common interests of the two countries. Further to his visit, the Chinese Consul has officially invited Dr. Al Haj to visit the Republic of China.
