The new additions to the facility are now available to treat patients suffering from renal and orthopaedic illnesses.
'The availability of dialysis and orthopaedic treatment in Sila is one of the first steps that WRDC has taken, in partnership with the Healthcare Authority, to provide better healthcare in the western region. On behalf of both organizations, I am tremendously pleased to open this unit as this addresses a concern brought to our attention during the recently completed roadshows,' says H.E. Mohamed Hamed Al Mazrouei, Director General, Western Region Development Council.
Salem Eissa Al Mazrouei, Acting Director, Western Region Medical Zone, attended the launch to support the initiative of WRDC and the Healthcare Authority.
'Our objective is to ensure that all living in the Western Region are provided with high level of quality services, especially in healthcare, as anywhere else in the Emirate,' continued Al Mazrouei. 'One of the ways in which we are able to do this is by working closing with relevant Government entities such as the Healthcare Authority. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Healthcare Authority and the Western Region Medical District for fast-tracking this initiative, and to the Western Region Municipality for their support in creating a brighter future for our people.'
