Orbit appoints new manager for Jordan operations

Orbit Television and Radio Network today announced a significant development within its regional operations with the appointment of Mr. Wael Kanaan as the new regional manager for Orbit office in Jordan.
This development aims to provide Orbit subscribers with more comprehensive services throughout the region. Mr. Kanaan principal focus will be on effective business operations and product planning whilst additionally continuing to drive sales growth in Jordan.
The Bahrain -based technology company has witnessed a fast-paced organic growth over the past few years and its ever-increasing geographic reach has lead to the need for a more defined local management structure. The decision comes as Orbit furthers its commitment to the region.
Mr. Kanaan has an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Leicester (United Kingdom, 2006) and a BSc in Business Administration and Marketing from California State University (USA, 1989).
Commenting on this appointment Mr. A Ali Ajouz, Vice President of Marketing and Distributions in Orbit, said "Orbit is excited to benefit from Mr. Kanaan expertise and we are confident in his abilities to uphold and build upon Orbit's high standards.
