iTunes sells 3bn songs

Apple says its iTunes store has sold 3bn songs since the service began four years ago, the Washington Post reports. Apple passed the 2bn mark just six months ago. iTunes is now ranked the third-biggest music retailer in the US, behind Walmart and Best Buy. Apple has also sold more than 100m iPods.
