ATV's Managing Director said, "The Commission had also suspended the channel's test transmission last Tuesday."

The Commission demanded documents of ATV relating to technical permits and frequencies, the channel started test transmission on NILESAT 102.

ATV supplied the Commission with all the documents it requested and obliged its decision not to start actual transmission although the channel is sure of the completion of its paperwork and the preparedness of its staff and grid in accordance with the high standards it promised its viewers.

ATV hopes to reach a speedy settlement with the Commission as to start transmission of the programs it has been preparing for months.
