Hala Kuwait sales figures look promising for NAS in 2007

The Hala Kuwait Meet & Assist program is fast gaining popularity among expatriates as well as locals as the key ingredient to a memorable trip into or out of the Kuwait International Airport.

Sales figures for Hala Kuwait have increased by 120 per cent over the past six months of the year compared to the same period of 2006.

While initially targeting retail travellers, National Aviation Services has succeeded in creating a demand for the service in a short span of time thus creating a large database of corporate clients. Apart from retail customers the service is currently being provided to the biggest names in Kuwait as well as entities like the US Embassy.

It is the warm courteous Hala Agent who assists in completing all the required airport formalities like check-in & immigration processes thus aiding in reducing travel related stress. The service can also be complimented by a flower delivery and a limousine to any destination within the country.

The cost of the service varies and is significant to the number of passengers and the integrated services being provided. Customers can avail of retail and corporate rates for bulk bookings on a regular basis.

The Hala Kuwait counters are located in both arrival and departure areas of the Kuwait Airport and counter staff are more than eager to help passengers with their Meet & Assist requirements. For those not willing to come to the airport for payments or pickups Hala Kuwait provides an online service though its parent company www.nas.com.kw wherein bookings for the Meet & Assist Service can be made online.

The service that was started in early 2004 with barely 8 staff on a rotational basis has grown into a considerably larger operation currently employing more than 40 staff on eight hour shifts handling passenger flights on a 24 hour basis.

NAS offers this service to a variety of people; first-time travellers who are unfamiliar with the language and the layout of the airport, residents of Kuwait who want their guests to feel special upon arrival. Corporate houses can also avail of this service to show their overseas guests the warmth and hospitality of the country.
