The IT giant adopts global best practices in human resources throughout its network, allowing employees to own shares in the company, and providing onsite sports and recreational facilities, free buffet meals throughout the day, free high-speed home Internet connections for all staff; leisure trips for staff and families and free cell phones alongside flexible telecommuting policies.
Mohammed bin Mahmoud Al-Rumaihi, Human Resources Manager, Cisco Saudi Arabia, said the company is committed to maintaining its award-winning status as the best working environment in the Kingdom.
The company, he added, has recently migrated to an electronic performance management (EPM) system where employees can set their own goals, identify performance strengths and weaknesses, and training programs required to develop their career. The system enables HR managers to then determine the right incentives, bonuses, salary increments and promotions.
Cisco KSA has been ranked No.1 company that provides the best work environment according to a survey carried out by El-Iqtisadiyah daily newspaper in collaboration with One Team. according to a survey of 15,000 employees in 70 local and multinational companies based in the Kingdom, Cisco provides the best working environment in Saudi Arabia.
