UOWD to host 'open evenings' in Dubai and Abu Dhabi

The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD), one of the oldest and prestigious universities in the UAE, will be introducing prospective students to its degree courses at separate Open Evenings in Dubai and Abu Dhabi this month.
The Abu Dhabi program will take place on Saturday, August 11, at the Hilton Hotel Abu Dhabi from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm and will be addressed by Professor Nicholas van der Walt, CEO of UOWD. Admission is free and open to all.
"The Open Evenings have been designed to enable students to learn about our bachelors degree and masters programs, meet the highly qualified and experienced faculty, find out about student support services, discover a range of career opportunities and discuss student life at the university with the alumni. Visitors can also get personalised academic counselling from the admissions staff," said Prof. Nicholas van der Walt.
The UOWD offers degree courses in Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce (with specialisations in Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance or HR Management), Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Development) and Bachelor of Internet Science and Technology.
