- PRESS RELEASE
UAE Crown Prince visited Ghayathi on Friday, 3 August.
"Under the directive of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa, we sincerely thank H.H. Sheikh Mohammed, for his leadership and continuous support for the Western Region. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed's ambition and direction to drive new projects such as the 60 new houses for citizens at Bida Al Matawa and a new modern healthcare facility to replace the existing facility at Ghayathi hospital are just some of the projects that will help shape the future for those living, working and visiting the region".
WRDC is working closely with the relevant government entities such as the Western Region Municipality, the Healthcare Authority and the Abu Dhabi Education Council to ensure that initiatives directed by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed and those outlined in the Policy Agenda 2007-08 set by Abu Dhabi Government are integrated into our future action plan for the Western Region. I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Western Region Development Council and the people of the Western Region to extend my heartfelt gratitude once again to the leadership of our emirate," concluded Mr. Al Mazrouei.
The Western Region Development Council was established in May 2006 to act as a key link between the residents and the relevant government entities to improve healthcare, education, infrastructure, business and investor opportunities to benefit the people of the region.
