Kuwaiti dinar rises again

Kuwait's Central Bank allowed the dinar to appreciate slightly over 0.1% against the US dollar on Sunday, its second adjustment in a week, reported Reuters. The dinar is now at an 18 year high as the Kuwaiti government attempts to reduce import costs which have helped push inflation to 5.3%. Since Kuwait ditched its dollar peg in May, the dinar has been allowed to appreciate by more than 2.6%.
