- PRESS RELEASE
CHI Development Group has today become the first developer to break ground at the Jumeirah Golf Estates with work commencing on their luxury residential estate, Lime Tree Valley.
Situated within the Jumeirah Golf Estates "Earth" Eco-signature golf course designed by the legendary Greg Norman, Lime Tree Valley is a luxury estate comprising of 121 villas on individual plots. The highly individualised homes boast stunning Southern Spanish style interiors by Design Young, and breathtaking views overlooking the golf course. The architectural style is reflective of a Mediterranean village, designed by internationally-renowned architects Godwin Austen Johnson. The villas range in size from 4,200 sq ft to 6,995 sq ft, on plot areas ranging from 8,000 sq ft to 15,200 sq ft.
The eight villa types are planned with 4 to 6 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and each with a ground floor guest bedroom. The open plan living space overlooks the garden that can be landscaped to each individual's requirements.
Roger Wakeham, Director of Development for CHI Development Group, said:
"We are thrilled to finally break ground in a ceremony that marks the beginning of a beautiful new community and an exciting day for CHI. Lime Tree Valley will be a landmark project in Dubai, not only because of its impressive external design and features, but also because the villas will be built with the highest quality in materials and construction.
"The considerable sales success following last years launch only emphasises the desire to live in this new Mediterranean-style community surrounded by some of the most picturesque golf courses in the world."
David Spencer, CEO of Jumeirah Golf Estates said:
"Today is a significant milestone in the lifecycle of the Jumeirah Golf Estates. It places us one step closer to fulfilling the vision of our Chairman, Mr. Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, to build the world's most prestigious residential golf community here in Dubai.
"Jumeirah Golf Estates is about blending the best in modern living with the wonders of nature, and the properties at Lime Tree Valley are a true example of this. We are proud to be working alongside CHI Development Group to make this first important step in bringing the Jumeirah Golf Estates dream to life."
CHI reached its target of 70% homes sold in record time and has now taken the decision to only release limited villas in stages beginning with the completion of the show villas in early 2008. The CHI Development Group, a UAE-based developer with an Irish background, has brought together a portfolio of partners to create a truly world-class development.
