DFSA in Iceland link-up

The Dubai Financial Services Authority has entered into an agreement with the integrated banking, insurance and securities regulator of Iceland, the Financial Supervisory Authority, or FME. The DFSA's CEO David Knott said the tie-up was to facilitate the expansion of Icelandic financial institutions into the DIFC by providing for comprehensive and equivalent standards of information sharing and co-operation between the DFSA and the FME.
