Zad Catering Services holds its official opening ceremony

On the occasion of the company's official launch of operations, Zad Catering Services, Jordan's largest specialized industrial food caterer, held an opening reception under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Labour, Basem al Salem, represented by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Labor Majed Al Habashneh.

The reception was followed by a tour for the guests at the Company's facilities on the 6th August 2007.

The celebration was attended by a number of representatives from different Jordanian governmental institutions in addition to key journalists from prestigious publications, and a number of Zad clients representing various industrial establishments and companies.

During the event, Zad's management team, welcomed the guests and accompanied them on a tour around the production units of the company that are equipped with state of art hi-tech equipments customized to guarantee production quality and efficiency, meeting the international standards of premium hygiene.

The launch event was commenced by a speech given by His Excellency the Secretary General of the Ministry of Labor Majed Al Habashneh, who commended Zad's efforts in creating a highly professional working environment conforming to international standards of excellence.

"Zad's dedication in upgrading the Kingdom's work environment is a pure testament and a clear reflection of the development taking place in Jordan's work climate" stated Al Habashneh.

"This significant contribution will enable businesses to effectively enhance the productivity levels of the multinational employees working in different industrial establishments across the Kingdom, and therefore building model and vital work climates, taking into consideration the basic needs of workers, on top of which is healthy food," added Al Habashneh.

"Since the early stages of our establishment, we identified high efficiency as a core value to the provision of pioneering services and the introduction of a new work concept in the Jordanian market. We place great emphasis on abundant professionalism in executing our work, as a huge production capacity that operates on competency is necessary for the guarantee of highest levels of food safety," said Rodney Woolliscroft, General Manager, Zad.

Working diligently to establish the highest standards of quality in providing its services through its trained staff and production capacity, Zad Catering Services emphasizes on the importance of the issue of healthy labor nutrition in increasing the productivity levels of workers and creating a healthy and dynamic work environment.

The guests were introduced to the highly sophisticated standards adopted during different work stages, and the mechanisms for providing these services, starting from preparing the meals, to delivering them to the clients' locations. The tour also explained to the guests the model privileges Zad provides for its own working staff.

"We have focused our resources, efforts and financial capabilities during the construction phase of our facility to ensure premium quality production with a production capacity of 100,000 (one hundred thousand) meals per day, in addition to, guarantee consistency in supplying high quality meals, consistency in hygiene, consistency in delivery time and consistency in response to clients needs," concluded Woolliscroft.
