The Ultra Video provides the ultimate experience for users who like to push the envelope in both design and technology. Steve Han, general manager of the hand-held phones division at Samsung Gulf Electronics, commented: "The handset has a unique and stylish design which allows the user to use the double sided controls to suit their operating needs. The reversible controls can be used as phone controls on one side and high quality video feature on the other."

The Samsung F500 Ultra Video is a multimedia focused 3G mobile phone which comes with entertaining functions and all in a beautifully user friendly handset. The handset comes in a sleek black color which adds style and sophistication to the look of the Samsung F500. The device also features a large 2.4-inch color display providing a clear 240x320 pixel screen resolution. The screen can be swiveled from the control pad to provide a sturdy stand with an adjustable angle for an easy and comfortable hands free viewing.

The super slim and stylish compact bar measures at 10.7mm thin and can easily slip into pockets and handbags for a practical portability.

Samsung F500, the video specialist of the Ultra line, is the first cell phone to support DivX video technology. "The F500 has been designed by Samsung with entertainment in mind. The user can compress files and still gain the benefit of high quality video footage that can be saved, recorded and shared" explained Han.

The Samsung F500 comes with a 410 MB internal memory and a 2GB MicroSD memory card which allows the user to store up to two movies which are approximately two hours long each.

Packed with an array of features, the F500 comes with a 2.0 mega pixel camera, FM radio, voice recorder and an integrated music player which supports multi music formats. The Ultra Video is a 3G capable phone with Edge technology which provides the user with fast data transfer and full connectivity with Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0.

The F500 is available in all major electronics outlets and retail stores.
