Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority organises a young leaders fun run in Hyde Park London

Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority supported SITE, the Society of Incentive Travel Executives at a showcase event in London that even included a fun run through Hyde Park onto the London offices of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.
The ADTA sponsored a fun run and breakfast, a unique and entertaining activity in Hyde Park, London for the SITE Academy for Young Leaders held recently at the InterContinental on Hyde Park Corner.
SITE and the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority is committed to educating the next generation of performance improvement leaders and their mission is to retain, engage and attract future leaders by providing education and networking opportunities on a level and in a manner appealing directly to those future leaders.
The Academy is a great opportunity for young leaders to launch their career in the incentive industry by expanding their business network, learning about the latest incentive trends through various educational sessions and participate in interactive discussions.
The Academy is designed to teach those new to the incentive industry the basics of what incentive business is and enhance the knowledge of those who are already working in the industry.
The Academy was attended by three young leaders from the Abu Dhabi tourism industry. The run route went through the park and then included a visit to the London Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority office where they were offered some traditional Arabic coffee and dates before completing the race.
Ahmed Hussein, Director of Product Development, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, said "Sponsoring the SITE Fun Run and breakfast gave us a great opportunity to showcase Abu Dhabi to the future buyers in the global incentive travel industry and also shows that we have a commitment to training the Young leaders of tomorrow".
Gillian Taylor, Business Tourism (MICE) Manager for the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority is on the International Board of Directors of SITE representing Africa and the Middle East further enhancing Abu Dhabi's profile in the Business Tourism industry.

About Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority
Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA), established by Ruler's Decree in September 2004, is a statutory body with wide ranging responsibilities for building the emirate's tourism industry. Its Chairman is HH Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan and Director General is HE Mubarak Al Muhairi.
The ADTA's mandate covers three main areas:
• Destination marketing - the ADTA, both independently and in association with other public and private sector organisations in Abu Dhabi's tourism community, actively markets the destination and its attractions to the local, regional and international travel trade, media and general public
