Madinah Hilton enjoys strong ties with Egyptian tour operators

Madinah Hilton held their annual Tour Operators' Event in Cairo on 12 June at Cairo Conrad hotel to highlight their sales event and reward all their key accounts & key prospects for the business and support extended to the hotel during the year 2006.

Leading Egyptian tour operators specializing in hajj & Umrah, who have continued to support Madinah Hilton through out the year, were invited to attend the event including but not limited too; Dar el Salam travel, Golden travel, Hanove travel , Mesk travel, Raya travel, Isis travel, Misr travel, Manar travel, Maha travel and Kimidar travel.

Mr.Mohamed Riad Galal, General Manager Madinah Hilton stated that the Egyptian market is considered to be one of the top feeders' markets and it is constantly progressing, contributing a significant chunk of business for Madinah Hilton all year round.

Mr.Hassan Ezz, Director of Business Development confirmed that the sales trip to Cairo was very successful and that it would strengthen the business relations between the hotel and the different tour operators. He also mentioned that the hotel was able to contract excellent business during this trip for the forthcoming Ramadan & hajj seasons, adding that they expect to generate a very high occupancy during August and September."

Nearly three million Egyptians had flown to Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah in 2006, with an expected continuous growth for the years to come. "While 85% of clients from Egypt still purchase Ummrah and Haj holidays via tour operators. Thus Egyptian tour operators are seen to be fundamental to the continued success and interest in our destination." Stated Hassan Ezz , Director of Business Development Madinah Hilton.
