The initiatives, focused on building human resources capabilities, are aimed at instilling the desired skills and knowledge in employees to scale up work efficiency.

The second phase of strategic initiatives by the MSFNCA are aimed at facilitating national political development by activating the newly-formed FNC, developing a co-ordination mechanism between the FNC and government, and promoting the participation of the UAE citizens in the parliamentary process.

A key component of this strategy is achieving corporate excellence by recruiting, nurturing and developing qualified human resources, ensuring smooth internal communications and laying out efficient administration and technological support to implement the Ministry's work.

'The MSFNCA is committed to developing the technical skills of employees through an effective strategy based on three areas: Communication, work experience and creating the right environment of growth,' said Tareq Lootah, Secretary General of the Ministry. 'This will in turn accomplish higher work productivity and strengthen the culture of excellence in all departments at the Ministry.'

He added: 'Modern administrative practices, qualified human resources and the latest technology will be key drivers that will help the Ministry meet our objectives.'

The Communications Guide, launched by the Ministry, enhances the skills of employees by serving as a perfect tool for communication efficiency at all levels - both internally and externally. The guide will act as the referral point for preparing official documents. It also includes a model adopted by the Ministry for external and internal speeches.

The MSFNC has also launched the 'Employee Guide', a comprehensive handbook that provides employees the desired information on their daily work, in addition to details of legislations and other tasks related to the Ministry.

The Ministry has already executed several administrative initiatives including seminars and workshops on specialized topics relevant to its work.
