'The ground breaking survey last year provided major insights into how executives viewed doing business in the Gulf and it will be very interesting to see what shifts in opinion have occurred over the past 12 months,' says event director, Alan Kelly.

'As well as measuring changes in attitude about the ease of doing business in the Gulf, this year's survey will ask executives about their company website plans,' he said.

'The results will show whether measures taken by the various Gulf countries over the past year have been effective in meeting the needs of business.'

The survey questionnaire will be distributed to senior executives of local and foreign companies operating in the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. 'This includes everyone who registers for the Leaders in Dubai Business Forum 2007,' Mr Kelly says.

The survey will need to be completed by October 4 to be included in the results which will be announced just prior to the Forum, which will be held at the Dubai International Convention Centre from November 18-20.

Confirmed speakers for this year's Leaders in Dubai Business Forum 2007, include former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan; Nobel Prize winner Professor Muhammad Yunus; entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson; business strategy gurus Robert S Kaplan, Philip Kotler and Steve Forbes; plus the founder of Google, Nikesh Arora.

The line-up is expected to attract a record-breaking number of delegates and the organisers are encouraging interested people to register early at www.leadersindubai.com to ensure they don't miss out.
