Acer's customer service program takes centre stage with free service camp

Acer Computer, the Middle East's leading supplier of notebook and desktop computers, launched its 'Acer Care Camp', an initiative that facilitates the free servicing of all Acer computers regardless of warranty, in partnership with Acer's Authorised Service Provider Community.

The Acer Care Camp is the realisation of Acer's long-term commitment to empowering its end-users. This unique regional scheme is the company's means of reciprocating benefits to Acer customers who will profit from Acer's expert consultation and free professional service.

"Acer has always maintained and provided a very strong customer service programme in the region," said Bernard Lobo, Service Account Manager, Customer Service Division, Acer Computer ME.

"This camp is a unique facility whereby Acer technology users can enhance their entire computer experience. We want to offer something extraordinary and the 'Acer Care Camp' is just that, an opportunity to provide a value-added service to all our users,"

The Acer camp will be rolled-out in cooperation with Acer's authorised service providers: Jumbo Electronics and Redington. This initiative will last for three days from 14 - 16 August 2007.

Under this scheme, Acer end-users can take their notebooks and multimedia PCs purchased after 2005, to the nominated service provider to have it checked. At the Acer camp, user qualms relating to diagnostic hardware problems, virus prevention, and product upgrades can be resolved. In addition, Acer will also be providing spare parts at a discounted price.
