The bank also plans to operate 100 units during the first quarter of 2008, announced Mr. Qassem Al Baloushi, Head of Delivery Channels in the bank.
On the other hand SIB has dominated the list of the "20 most used ATMs" in the UAE, starting with the third ranking, according to a recent report by the United Arab Emirates Central Bank
Al Baloushi asserted that the bank intends to finalize its comprehensive plan to cover all the regions in the emirate of Sharjah.
The ambitious plan shall start with the most densely populated areas, such as the tourist destinations in the Emirate. This is in addition to the planned expansion in the other emirates in order to cope with the growing demand on the SIB services.
In respect to the advantages of the automatic teller machines, Al Baloushi stated that they provide the customers with the most convenient services, in addition to their elegance when installed at tourist and commercial sites.
