During a tour of the bank, the youngsters were shown the various services provided by the bank, taught how ATM cards work and briefed about the special Boom account that Gulf Bank offers to customers aged 7-13 years old. Branch staff briefed them on the benefits, how to apply for these benefits, and the rewards program the Bank offers, where they can get discounts when using their ATM card at select stores in Kuwait.

"We are delighted to have hosted the summer club for the Kuwait Society of Engineers' kids," said Ebtihaj Al Roumi, Youth Manager for Gulf Bank. "Through our Boom accounts, we have established a unique connection with children in Kuwait."

Gulf Bank, Kuwait's second largest commercial bank, is the only bank in Kuwait offering youth accounts for customers in four age brackets.

The Boom bank account offers a uniquely designed ATM card and easy access to Gulf Bank's Online Banking and Telebanking services, together with a booklet of discount coupons for participating retail outlets in Kuwait.

Parents can choose between a Saving Account with interest and a Current Account without interest. The Boom account does not require a minimum opening deposit. The account is intended to be both fun and educational, encouraging children to save from an early age
