- PRESS RELEASE
Woman Today, Qatar's only working women's magazine from the house of Oryx Advertising Company (OAC) announced it is turning two years this month.
With perfect role models to follow, globally and locally, women in Qatar have shown great resolve in increasing their presence in the corporate sector. And Woman Today caters to this large number of working women in the country.
Speaking on the magazine's success Mr. Ravi Raman (Sr. Business Manager) said "With Qatar's continued progress, the role women play in corporate and social sectors is changing, Woman Today reflects this change and aims to be their partner. The past two years has seen Woman Today grow in popularity and readership, it fulfils a vital gap in the market and we are very happy with the response. As Qatar's largest magazine group we are buoyant and committed in offering the best and very soon readers will experience another first for Qatar."
WT talks about women who inspire and motivate and set healthy precedents to follow. It covers all aspects of life from careers, health, beauty, fashion and the latest happenings. What working women in Qatar need, more than legislations and flexibility at workplace, is networking, and WT, to a large extent, has managed to do that.
As an advertising medium it delivers an up-market, affluent readership, reaching the working women, professionals and entrepreneurs.
OAC is one of the oldest and biggest publishing house in Qatar. Established over 30 years ago, OAC is the only media house in the country that produces three monthly magazines - Qatar Today, Qatar Al Yom and Woman Today -- all leaders in their respective categories. The latest title from the Oryx stable is The Connoisseur, a magazine on ultra-premium lifestyle.
The publications are the choice of premium international, regional and local brands. They carry a unique combination of lifestyle, corporate and product advertising messages. Their associations are long term, reinforcing the trust they place on the brands.
