HP names John Hoonhout as new lead for HP Middle East

HP today announced that it has appointed John Hoonhout as managing director and Technology Solutions Group lead of HP Middle East with immediate effect.
John Hoonhout has been acting Technology Solutions Group lead since February 2007. Previously he was the Director of Services for HP Middle East and has been instrumental in accelerating HP's profitable growth in the services business.
Before moving to the Middle East region in 2005, John Hoonhout held various HP Services business management roles in the South Pacific region including Managed Services and Professional Services.
"John has demonstrated his ability to successfully drive the technology solutions business and showed strong leadership, sound execution and excellent knowledge of the Middle East ICT market combined with exceptional passion for customers and their success" says Ken Willett.
John Hoonhout is a national of New Zealand and holds a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Computer Science from Waikato University, New Zealand.
