Jordan $8.7m pact with Microsoft

Jordan's Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (MoICT) has signed an $8.7m deal with Microsoft to provide software licences, training and technical support for its government offices. The pact extends the partnership initiated between the two parties in 2003 to 2009. Under the new deal, Microsoft will reinvest $3m for developing strategic projects for MoICT and local partners.
