British Airways extends Club World to FIRST upgrade offer

  • United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, August 15 - 2007 at 14:08
  • PRESS RELEASE

British Airways - the UK's flagship airline which operates 21 weekly services from the UAE to London Heathrow - is extending into September its summer Club World (business class) offer, where full-fare customers received a complimentary one-leg upgrade to the airline's award-winning FIRST cabin.

This extended promotion is on sale from August 15th to September 30th 2007 for travel between September 1st - 30th, 2007.

"Club World and FIRST load factors increased over summer as new customers joined our loyal business traveller community in taking advantage of experiencing FIRST's exceptional levels of space and seclusion in our renowned Demi-Cabins for a Club World fare," said Paul Starrs, British Airways Commercial Manager, Middle East.

"It is our 75th anniversary of Middle East services in October, and in the run-up to this landmark occasion for the airline, we're extending the offer so more of our regional customers can experience both of these exclusive cabins."

The airline, which operates 14 weekly flights from Dubai - and seven weekly flights from Abu Dhabi - to London Heathrow, is currently rolling out its next generation Club World seat across its fleet, with full embodiment on track to be completed by the middle of next year.
